  • Barry Smith, Leipzig

The workshop is designed to provide an opportunity for discussions of the structure of the Gene Ontology and especially of formal approaches to GO which might enhance its reliability and also increase the degree to which its information content can be extracted and controlled for error automatically. The goal is to make GO a more robust ontology for purposes of data integration in the life sciences.
